Hi all. New to this tribe. Am looking to gain more certified hours of training as a CMT, for personal / professional growth as well as national certification.
Ive been looking around at various schools in the SF Bay area, many with interesting programs in certain areas. But none so far with quite the range of what id like to invovle myself in for further training.
I would be likely putting myself through more schooling using a vocational rehabilitation program that would pay for the schooling, so this is one criteria in finding a school.
What is really interesting me is a school / program with at least 800 hour program, that ideally includes tui na, thai massage, and more deep muscular skeletal work like rolfing. I want more training that will really help me learn to responsably help resolve deeper seated musculoskeletal issues that rolfing may be more suited to then acupressure , swedish ,etc.. Of course while still embracing fully the emotional, energetic and spiritual realms of health promoting work and learning.
Any recommendations on such schools in the SF Bay area, preferablly within 15 miles of Berkeley.
